Engraved Scottish Alloa Bottle c. 1830s

This is a rare find. It is believed to be of Scottish origin, probably Alloa bottle c. 1830s. It has fully spherical body, shaped lady's leg neck and 2 part tapered applied lip and a flat scar pontil base. The body has etched on to it an emblem of the Masonic lodge ? and "JOHN & AGNES COWIE"

You have a nice Scottish stippled bottle there. It was actually produced from 1788 up to 1873. Bottles like that are usually attributed with Alloa Glassworks in Alloa, which is located near Edinburgh, England.

Day curt, I am a Belgian bottle collector and I own 2 interesting Alloa bottles, which I would like to know more about. Is it possible to get in touch with your father?
